SPECIAL LECTURE SERIES

In honour of Prof.G.Parthasarathy, the founder President of the Society, Memorial lecture series was instituted in 2003. These lecturers were delivered during the annual conferences of the Society. Till date these lectures were delivered by Prof. S. Mahendra Dev, Prof. Shovan Ray,Dr. T.Haque, Dr. S.R.Hashim, Dr. Ramesh Chand, Prof. S. Galab, Prof. D. Narasimha Reddy, Prof. Y.K. TRAININGS

In 1990, the Society organised a National level Training for Farmers in Agricultural Marketing jointly with Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board at Agricultural Marketing Training Institute, Mysore.

in 2019, jointly with COSAMB, New Delhi, organised National level Training programme on ICT in Agricultural Marketing at ISAM, Hyderabad.

FOREIGN STUDY TOURS

In 1995 the Society organized a tour for a group of 15 senior members to study the agriculture produce markets in five countries : France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and United Kingdom. The delegation interacted with the Officials of the selected markets to know the management and development aspects suitable for replicating in Indian markets.

In 2005, the Society conducted a study tour for 18 Members to various agricultural markets and allied institutions in Thailand, China, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.
